Discover the LTU Engine Administrative Interface

You will make your first steps on our LTU Engine OnDemand platform. This documentation will help you to discover the main functionalities of the administrative interface. Also, you will be guided to:


To get started, go to our front office and log in by using the information you have received by email


The front office could help you to check if your application working well by testing some API requests. If you need more information about the interface, please consult the complete documentation .

An application is mainly a database of images indexed according to a specific technology. This example is based on a mobile matching application.
Your application has been created by the LTU Tech support team. You can visualize it on the Applications tab but you can not change any of its parameters.


The string of characters under the name of the application is the application key. It is important to note it. It will be useful to send request to the API.

The Applications view allows to:

  • check the status of your application
  • see how many images and keywords contains your application
  • add and search images
  • access to statistics tab

2.1. IP Authorization

The authentication on LTU Engine web services is based on the Application Key and IP address. In the part above, you have been explained how to get the Application key, but it will not be needed to send requests from the administrative interface.

2.1.1. Frontoffice IP

Also, before adding images in your application from the administrative interface, you need to add LTU Engine Frontoffice in your list of allowed IP addresses.
To add it automatically, go to the Image Management tab. The following error message appears.

Click on OK. The LTU Engine Frontoffice IP will be automatically added.



2.1.2. Your PC IP

To send requests from a client (see our Python client), your IP needs to be authorized.
To add your IP in your list of allowed IP addresses, click on the Admin tab. Your IP should be pre-filled.


The description could be changed. To validate, press the green crosse.


2.2. Password modification

If you want to change the password you have received, go to the setting administration part.

3.1. Images adding

3.1.1. Batch add

Any images has been stored on your application yet.


Several images can be added at the same time by using the batch add as suggested above. Click on batch add and choose a images zip to add.


Now images are available. You can consult them from the Image Management tab.


3.1.2. Single image add

You can also add images one by one.
By clicking on your application name from the Application tab, you can access to the API requests. A new view allow to add a single image and to choose its name (its is nor possible with the batch add).

3.2. Search Image

3.2.1. Bounce

From the Images Management tab, you can compare the images between them. Click on the Bounce button, to launch a search request.

3.2.2. Search Request

By clicking on your application name from the Application tab you can access to the API requests. Choose the Search by Upload request and select a query image. Push on the Search button to send your request.


The answer will be given when the processing will be finished. If images references are found, there will be displayed under the white frame.
